In the last 10 years, the internet has dramatically transformed the way students find, share, and site information. Whereas the class of 2003 relied heavily on physical encyclopedias checked out from the library, the class of 2013 turns to Wikipedia to find the information they are looking for. Research no longer requires a trip to the library and a deep understanding of the resource catalog system; entering a few key words into an internet search engine will yield more results in minutes than hours in an athenaeum.
